Kyrgyzstan may only be a small country but it has played a big role in Central Asia history. Situated in the heart of the continent, the Great Silk Road – and hence the merchants and caravans of the Silk Trade – passed through. Here we will help you discover a landscape that is both wild and majestic.
The sole inhabitants of this splendid landscape of steppes and mountain pastures are the semi-nomadic Kyrgyz shepherds setting up camp in their yurts.
The welcome they offer is one of the highlights of this tour, as are the treks – through the Suusamyr valley and the Kekemeren canyon, around Lake Song Kul to Tash Rabat with its caravanserai, along the famous silk road close to the Chinese border, along the banks of the “Pearl of Kyrgyzstan” the Issyk Kul Lake. The tour includes a mix of trekking and four-wheel drive safari.
