Kyrgyzstan, a small country in Central Asia, nestled in the heart of Tien Shan (Celestial Mountains) is a great destination for a family holiday. The route chosen will discover inside Kyrgyzstan. As a first step in the valley of Shamsy where we will meet the first local families of Kyrgyzstan.
And south of Lake Issy Koul,  The second biggest highest lake in the world surrounded by peaks over 4000 meters. Children feel at the seaside!  The Lake of Son Kul little paradise will be the next step (hiking on foot, horseback and fishing). This is where the Kyrgyz nomads are found for the summer. Villages of yurts, sheep, horses and wolves are the decor !  This trip focuses on the meeting of Kyrgyz nomads’ yurts people “but also on the nature of this small mountain country. A most pleasant stay in family.

J1 : Flight Europe – Kyrgyzstan

J2 : Bishkek
Arrival in Bishkek at night, rest in our Guest house . Walk in the Kyrgyz capital located at the foot of the Tien Shan mountains . Bazaar , parks …. Night Guest house .

J3 : Bishkek – Valley Shamsy
Departure for the Valley Shamsy (2h transfer). First contact with families of Kyrgyz . Night under tent or yurt

J4 : Valley Shamsy
Horse riding or walking in the foothills of the valley. Stunning views over the valley. Overnight in tents or yurts.

J5 : Issyk Kul
Transfer to Lake Issyk Kul ( transfer 3h) . Balitchy stop for lunch . Arrival on the shores of the lake, sea of ​​Kyrgyzstan and throughout the region ( the lake of more than 180 km long and 60 wide, is located at an altitude of 1600 m. The climate is temperate . Lake water is 21 degrees ! We set up camp in a bay . The setting is gorgeous . swimming ….. Overnight in tents .

J6 : Issyk Koul
Day at the lake with the program , swimming, meeting with sinners, walk in the canyons …. The kids really feel like you’re at the seaside Night in tents.

J7 : Bakonbaeva
Small transfer to the village of Bakonbaeva . Visit a berkouchis ( person who raises eagles to hunt ) . Departure for the Valley Kouk Bulak and yurt camps . Moments spent with the nomads. Night under tent or yurt

J8 : Kouk Bulak
Hiking y foot or horse for those who wish pastures at the foot of the mountain massif Terskey . Night under tent or yurt

J9 : Kochkorka
Starting mid-morning to the small town of Kochkorka . Stop at the artisans who make  felt carpet ( sherdaks ), bazaar … . Overnight homestay .

J10 : Song Kul
Depart for Lake Song Kul pearl of Kyrgyzstan . Located more than 3,000 m it is the privileged place for Kyrgyz shepherds . Indeed , this place focuses the best grazing country . Nomads settled there for the summer with family and flocks. Night under tent or yurt .

J11- 12 : Song Kul
We will spend two days in this beautiful setting. Walks on the mountains above Lake , meetings nomads and fishermen . Possibility of horse riding …. Nights in tents or yurts when possible .

J13 : Kokomeren and canyon
We leave this intact nature valley Kokomeren . Radically changes the landscape of verdant pasture we move to an arid region . Canyon River  and turquoise waters. Overnight in tents at the edge of the river.

J14 : Kokomeren – Bishkek
Back to Bishkek by Tyu Ashu pass ( 3 586 m). On the road to stop Konjomkul museum and its famous people . Guest night in our house.

J15 : Day spent in Bishkek or on the field
 Shopping ….. night in our guest house.

J16 : Flight to France in the night


Level:  Easy This trip is easy and accessible to all children ( from 4-6 years). A large part of the stay is at altitudes between 2,000 and 3,000 meters. Hiking between 2-3 pm in the card according wish of participants ( parents who want their beautiful hikes will be offered 4-5 pm ) .

Healthcare / Pharmaceuticals / vaccines : No vaccinations are compulsory in Kyrgyzstan . Tetanus vaccination is strongly recommended for any outdoor activity . In your pharmacy : – Your personal medication – A good sunscreen – Double skin, Elastoplast , bands, aspirin, diamox …. – A pair of spare glasses for those involved – From micropure – Survival blanket . A small tour to the dentist for a check is not negligible , do not rely on local dentists!

 Formalities : Getting in Kyrgyzstan must have a valid passport ( greater than 6 months expiration date)

– Travel insurance .
It will be imperative to have travel insurance before leaving French territory. Repatriation insurance. Climate: Predominance of weather ( chance of thunderstorms late in the day ) . The nights are cool enough altitude ( between 10 and – 5 degrees in September).
