« On the nomad ‘s Land » Trekking
16 Days


This trek followed the nomad’s way to the jailoo of Song Koul.  A trek far away  from the classic trekking route.  From the Shamsy valley to Song Koul lake we will cross during 12 days the Celestian Mountains.  High valley, steppes, rivers …..  passes .  The nature is great …..  meet the nomads and share their lifestyle.  One of the best trekking in Kyrgyzstan.



Day 1/  Fly to Bishkek

Day 2/  Bishkek
Arrival in Bishkek kyrgyzstan capital.  City tour ( bazar, parc …). Night at our guest house.

Day 3 /     Bishkek - Shamsy
Transfer to Shamsy valley start of our trek.  Meeting with our local team.  Camp beside the river

Day 4 – day 13  / Shamsy – Song Koul
12 days trek cross the mountains, forets and steppes.  We will cross few passes the altitude of 4000 meters before arrive to Song Koul lake the hearth of Kyrgyzstan. Their the nomads putted their yurts for the summer.  Camps in tent.

Day 14  / Song Koul – Issyk Koul
Transfer  to Issyk Koul lake, the sea of central Asia.  Relaxing day. Campsite on the beach.

Day 15/     Issyk Koul – Bishkek
Transfer back to Bishkek. Night at our guest house

Day 16/ Fly to Europe



Informations :

Trekking : 
Average 8 hours trek per day. No technical difficulties. Trek at the altitude  2 500  and 4 200 meters.

Lodging :
Guest House in Bishkek,,  tent  (2 people)

Meals :
You will have a cook in the staff. He will cook kirghiz special meals. He will serve healthy and delicious food.

Staff :
Local guide who are speaking english.

Passport and visa :
You need to have a valid passport. You can obtain your kirghiz visa in your arrival at Bishkek airport. Cost of the visa 35 €.

Equipment :
You will need the same equipment than you use for example in Alps.  You will need a good sleeping bag ( confort – 10 °)

The organization will give you :
All of the camping equipment including the mattress.

Insurance :
Before leaving your country , please make sure that you have an individual travel insurance. You are also advised to adopt a policy which provides cancellation.


Period of our tour :
June to end of september

Health:
No particular risks. Don’t hesitate before your leaving to have a check at your doctor.

Money:
Local money:   som (1 € = 50 som);

Local languages: Kyrgyz , Russian
